Paid Advertising (Part 1)

Paid advertising can also be a very useful tool for increasing traffic to your site. There are many different ways and forms of paid advertising. Using Search Engines or Social Networking sites with pay-per-click advertising is one very useful form. Pay-Per-Click advertising is when you only pay the advertiser, whether it's Google or facebook, etc, when someone clicks on your advertisements. While there are other forms of paid advertising, Vision Technology suggests only using pay-per-click services.

Visiontm suggests Pay-Per-Click because it ensures you are actually receiving traffic for your advertisement. Paid advertising does not help raise your search engine rankings and in fact they must be specified as paid advertising, or have a no follow link for search engine bots. It may even hurt your search engine rankings. Search engines have cracked down heavily on sites who include nothing but paid advertising links to gain better search results.

If you are like most Web Surfers, you probably have all you can do just to get your browser and e-mail working. This is a new (well to the masses anyway) and exciting technology.
