Played an integral role in turning the corporation from a $850 thousand net operating loss to a $3.5 million profit while improving quality and service. Have been successful in implementing numerous improvements to managerial and control procedures and instrumental in documenting daily operating procedures. Areas of responsibility include Resort Property Management and rentals for 300 homes and villas, 1900 Member Private Club, two Championship Golf Courses, Real Estate, Maintenance, Marina with dockage and Dry Storage, Rentals for Golf Carts and Boats, 6 Restaurants, Youth Recreation Program, 4 Retail Stores, Racquet Club with 8 Clay Courts and 2 Hard Courts, 6 Pools and a variety of other operations.

This position sits on the Executive Committee with daily responsibilities to include the analysis, feasibility, purchasing, maintenance and support of Information Technology. The installed base of equipment includes 140+ computers, 3 Novell Servers, 2 Windows NT Servers, 1 FreeBSD UNIX server and 1 SCO UNIX server, 6 PBX systems with 150+ Administrative telephones and 260+ Rental unit extensions. Industry software expertise includes Resort Property Management, Restaurants, Real Estate, Retail, Golf Course, Club Membership, Corporate and other areas. Career highlights include “Most innovative User Award” from First Resort Software for the development of an island wide POS system, using Verifone Trans 330 equipment (Visa terminals) and their Micros Interface. This system allows member and guest charging at all amenities, which includes facilities over 20 miles apart. Modified the accounting system to bill and track dining minimums for member accounts. Developed and maintain five company related web sites some of which include Electronic Commerce, Interfacing to our Property Management system, Mailing Lists, On-Line Tee-Times, etc

Created the Food and Beverage Division from three problem restaurants. Turned a $200,000 per year combined loss into first year profit of $150,000. Created control systems, management procedures, training programs and other critical management tools. Created many special functions for Food and Beverage sales, including an annual Wine Festival, Comedy Dinner Theater, etc. Annual combined sales are in excess of $2,000,000. Developed a management team of Food Service Professionals that increased sales as much as 50% per year. Left the Food & Beverage division in May of 1996
